The enterprises of the BORWOOD Holding JSC «Gomeldrev» and «Yelsk Furniture Factory» represented by its branch JSC «Mozyrsky DOK» demonstrated the best furniture samples of the woodworking industry at the Belarusian stand as part of the largest international furniture exhibition IMM Cologne 2020. The exposition is open from January 13-19. Traditionally, this event attracts exhibitors and visitors from more than 50 countries, and became a landmark for the entire furniture industry.
This is not the first experience for BORWOOD Holding of participating in IMM Cologne. In 2019, the enterprises presented their products as part of a collective stand governed by the Bellesbumprom Concern together with the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Enterprises of Belarus. The products of the Holding's enterprises were of great interest among visitors to the stand, among which were both large companies and private individuals. As part of last year’s participation, the enterprises managed to hold some negotiations and receive requests for cooperation with foreign companies from around the world.
The «Yelsk Furniture Factory» demonstrated its products for the first time at this site in 2020. However, it is worth noting that the enterprise exports most of the products to EU countries where modern style products with the maximum use of solid wood are in great demand.
This year at the collective stand of Belarusian enterprises with a total area of more than 200 sq.m. the enterprises of BORWOOD Holding will showcase a new dining furniture set with soft elements, a furniture set for the living room with original carving and also several models of chairs manufactured by the JSC «Gomeldrev». The Yelsk Furniture Factory brought to Germany new models of chairs, a loft-style dining group and a set of garden furniture. The furniture of the enterprises is made in a modern design and style, and has a high quality of manufacture. All products are made of natural wood. The concept of the stand is designed to represent Belarusian furniture in the best possible light. The green colors and wood are used in the design of the exposition aimed at emphasizing the environmental friendliness of furniture. The slogan of 2020 exposition – «The spirit of comfort» emphasizes convenience and quality of furniture.
The participation in the exhibition aims at giving a vital stimulus for sales at the start of 2020 and becoming the key to successful promotion of products on the European market. The products demonstrated by the enterprises of BORWOOD Holding comply with the market trends. In light of the increased demand among European countries for affordable solid wood furniture, we expect successful and promising results of the enterprises' participation in the event!
